We are a small kennel located in Louisa, Virginia breeding AKC Beagles for SPO (Small Pack Option) Field Trials, Rabbit Hunting and even as pets. We have over 17 years of experience breeding and raising beagles. Our family raised beagles make great pets as well as great rabbit dogs.
We are a small show kennel located in Central Virginia. The origins of Beowulf date back to 1985 in Marlborough, Massachusetts and started with the Beagle bloodlines of Bridal Vale, Chrisette, Buglair and White Acres. We strive to produce a pretty little hound that demonstrates elegant breed type. Most importantly these dogs must have the qualities of temperament that allow them to be an excellent companion animal. Like most, our Beagles are comedians and engage in mischief on a regular basis.
Our breeding program is limited and very selective; we don’t have litters often, not even every year. We breed with the purpose to produce the next generation of our show dogs and always keep 2-3 puppies from each litter to further evaluate their show potential; the rest of puppies are available to approved pet homes or to fellow breeders. When breeding, we pay close attention to producing happy, friendly dogs with easy going temperaments.
Mountain Magic Beagles is own and run by the Harris family, located in the beautiful Shenandoah valley or Virginia. Here we and strive to have a dog that can compete in both show and field events.Our Beagles excel in the field under the gun as well as in the show ring and we compete in AKC and UKC sanctioned field trails and shows on a regular basis.
Hall Mountain Rabbit Beagles is operated by Philip Hall and Hunter Hall. The kennel is located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We represent a variety of bloodlines in our kennel in working towards developing our own. All of our dogs are AKC and UKC registered, and we compete in UKC licensed Hunting Beagle and Performance Pack field trial events on a regular basis. We are members of the Rockingham County Beagle Club, Augusta County Beagle Club, and the National Beagle Club in Aldie, VA.

Simply Southern is a team of two breeders. We home raise all of the puppies, and they are treated as part of our family. One breeder alone can not produce enough quantity to keep a website working all year long–unless they are mass producing, or puppy mills. We team together to raise select litters, so that we offer the finest in quality, and can dedicate much time to each individual puppy!
I have been a nurse for over 3o years and attend the birth of every puppy. All the puppies are born and raised indoors with lots of love and attention from adults and children. We breed for quality, characteristics and traits that beagles are well known for and desired in a family pet and field dog.
