In 1992 I purchased my foundation bitch Taylor from Diane Broderick of Amity Newfoundlands in New Jersey. The following year I purchased my second foundation bitch from Kathy Hamilton of Old Bay Newfoundlands in Virginia. I have to thank them as well as many other breeders that have mentored me along the way. You helped me get a great start into the world of Newfoundland dogs.
Over the years we have been successful at producing quality pure bred AKC registered puppies. All of our male dogs are DNA registered with AKC. We continuously look at what we have and are producing, to see ways to build upon and improve our blood lines.
I’ve had beagles and coon dogs most of my life. I’ve been messing with dogs for more than 40 years. I’ve been hunting beagles in competition since we founded the Springfield Sportsman Beagle Club 15 years ago. I’m always looking to improve the breed. I’ve driven hundreds of miles to breed with the best blood I could find. I look for hard hunters with drive, desire, and stamina. They have to have brains, along with strong noses and loud mouths.
