We are a small breeding kennel breeding two, maybe three litters a year. We DO NOT mass produce puppies, and we DO NOT ship puppies from one end of the country to the other site unseen. In Fact, we DO NOT ship puppies at all. Our dogs are happy well loved animals, and we will ONLY sell our puppies to screened, loving families. We have been showing and breeding beagles for 35 years, most of that has been in Arizona until our recent move to Tennessee 6 years ago. We are small show kennel with only one or two litters a year. This way we have can dedicate the time and resources to each and every litter.
Our puppies are raised in our home where we can keep a close watch on them. All puppies are sold on spay/neuter contracts and limited registrations. All our puppies are vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and have a vet health check before they leave our home. We evaluated them at 8 weeks for which one(s) will be show and which will be pet. Puppies can leaves for their new homes at 9- 10 weeks. At any time, for any reason, in the life of the puppy you are unable to keep the beagle it is to come back to us.

Paul Wessel raised dogs his entire life and loved every minute of it. From the time he was in grade school Paul has had a passion for all types of dogs. Raised on his family farm in Dutzow Missouri Paul grew up in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and exploring. On May 30, 1959 Paul and his high school sweetheart Ruth were married and have lived in the Dutzow/Augusta area ever since. They raised a daughter and son and now enjoy two granddaughters and one grandson! With about 60 years of experience taking care of dogs, the Wessel’s have the knowledge and experience to know how to take care of most any situation your dog might have.

We know the Beagle breed very well. Since our first Beagle in 2002 we have been in love. Our first Beagle, Tara, loved children and was an exceptional mother to her puppies. She was a very people oriented dog and would do anything for her family members. Tara is gone now, but her legacy lives on in the Beagles we produce.
We have been careful not to use barkers, howlers, aggressive or hyper dogs in our breeding program. Our pups bond well with their new families and also get along with other animals. Most of our pups are traditional tri colored. We occasionally have the brown and white (chocolate) puppies with red nose and eyes. Our puppies are microchipped and will come with health certificates, vaccination record and deworming records. References nationwide.

Nacius’ kennel is a very small kennel located in Northeastern Wisconsin, just 15 miles north of Green Bay. We mainly enjoy raising and training quality dogs. All of our dogs have excellent health and great temperaments. We have a few litters of 13-inch puppies each year, which are mostly tricolor with a few black and tans that have little to no white. On occasion we will have a couple of puppies for sale out of different litters.

My desire is to produce smooth running line control hounds that will hunt their own rabbit and be able to run that rabbit under any condition at the speed necessary. I want to breed a hound that is easy to handle, runs straight at any position in the pack and has great check work. A good field trial hound shouldn’t have to run the front all the time to be noticed.

First and foremost, I breed for Beagles that meet the AKC Standard for health, type and temperament. I breed specifically for something to show and add to my breeding program. What puppies do not “make the grade” for the show ring or to add to my breeding program are sold as pets or performance dogs to approved homes at 8 weeks or later. All of my pet and performance puppies are sold on a Limited AKC Registration with a Spay/Neuter Agreement.
We have the the largest beagle kennel in Southern Illinois. We run a full-time operation selling hounds to many people throughout the United States. Some travel many miles to see my operation and watch their style of beagle run and then choose the hound that suits them. We can ship beagles by ground or air if you can’t make the trip. It’s better if you can watch the dogs perform. You are encouraged to bring along your best and put it to the test.
